This was released on 1st September 2008 and having been fortunate to have read some extensive preview pieces I was keeyed up with a boyish expectancy waiting for my copy to arrive. I was not disappointed.

This is an absorbing read, perfect to settle down with a good bottle on one of those dark stormy nights and drift off into memories of childhood. The magic of your first fish from that great foreboding ocean or, reliving the fun of trying to tempt those illusive dark shapes that you can see quartering the harbour walls to take a bait. The exhilaration of being on a classic surf beach when there's a lively sea, the crunch of shingle on a frosty night and many more of those experiences that only the sea angler truly gets to appreciate are re-counted by one of our most accomplished anglers whilst retaining the sense of boyish wonder and an understanding of the nechanics of angling throughout.

I love it. A great read, especially for a big kid like me. John Abbott

Nice one Honourable, I'll definitely look out for a copy.
